Beacon Hill Continues to “Sparkle” for Rosie’s Place

Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro to hold Sparkle II, an Afternoon Charity Fashion Show to Benefit Rosie’s Place

 

 

(Boston, MA) – What could be more fun than an afternoon checking out the latest trends in fashion, sipping on flirty cocktails, and nibbling on bite-sized treats? Don’t worry; this isn’t too good to be true! Plus, it’s all to benefit an amazing charity so let the guilt go!!

 

Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 3:30PM – 5:00PM because that’s the day The Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro, located at 75 Charles Street in Boston’s fashionable Beacon Hill, will be holding “Sparkle” an event billed as “…an afternoon of Fashion, Food & Fun.” The event will bring together ladies from around Boston to sip cocktails, enjoy light fare and finger foods prepared by Executive Chef Jason Bond and view the latest fashions with an afternoon fashion show.

 

Boston “Style Divas” and members of the media will step in as models, look out for: Rachel Baker, City Style Editor for Boston Magazine, Jill Radsken, Fashion Editor of The Boston Herald, Lisa Pierpont, Editor of Boldfacers and writer for Fashion Boston, Leighann Farrelly, Editor of Boston Yelp!, Sascha DeGerdorf, Fashion Editor of Boston Magazine, Erica Corsano, Editor of Stuff Magazine, Jenny Johnson Co-star and Executive Producer of NECN’s TV Diner, Bianca de la Garza of WCVB’s ABC Morning News, Sue Brady, On-Air Talent for Mix 98.5FM, and hosted by Shoetube Star Omid Maxie!  These lovely locals will be glammed up pretty head-to-polished-toe in outfits, shoes, accessories and beauty products galore from Beacon Hill boutiques and shops such as: Wish, Good Inc., Moxie, Beauty Mark, Crush Boutique, Pixie Stix & Red Wagon, Koo de Kir, Cibeline, Holiday and many more!

 

 

Attendees will also be treated to complimentary gift bag swag, raffle items and more!  All you recessionistas out there will be glad to know that the cost for the event is only $20.00 and included in the $20.00 admission price is your front row communal seat to the afternoon fashion show, light afternoon gourmet appetizers and (1) glass of sparkling wine (Full Cash bar and special cocktail menu provided by Absolut Mango also available) and exclusive “Shop the Hill” discount card giving you 15%-25% off participating vendors directly following the show! Did someone say Running of the Brides Part2 ????!!!! A percent of proceeds from the event will go directly to Rosie’s Place, a sanctuary for poor and homeless women.
